Affordable Home Care Agency was founded by Melissa Chapman as a referral agency providing non-medical care to people at a reasonable cost.  Melissa's primary background was in business, with her strengths being her ability to manage people and to focus on the client.  Her knowledge of the home-care field came from her mother who was a highly regarded, award winning nurse that worked in the home care industry for 20 years. Melissa's dream was to someday open a business combining her passions for business, working with people and providing a much-needed service in a caring efficient manner.  Her dream has been realized in the creation of Affordable Home Care Agency.  

Melissa is very aware of the struggles, emotions and concerns that come with having home-care provided for a loved one.  Less than one year after opening her agency, her mother was diagnosed with lung-cancer and eventually passed away from the disease.  During her mother's illness, Melissa was able to provide caregivers to help her mother and knows first hand how important it is to get somebody who is honest, caring, dependable and efficient at their job.

Now with a complete office staff and over 250 registered caregivers, Affordable Home Care Agency is providing the same quality home care that Melissa's mother received.  The company philosophy says it all, "In a successful company, integrity, honesty, and profits do not need to be exclusive of each other -- in fact they complement and enhance each other".
